Hybrid Series

Used TaylorMade R7 Hybrids

2004–2025

Launched in 2004 with the R7 Quad, this series introduced Moveable Weight Technology (MWT), allowing players to shift cartridges to cure a slice or hook. Spanning the R7 425, r7 irons/woods, R7 460, and the high-MOI R7 Superquad, the family remains one of the most technologically influential lines in TaylorMade's history.

FAQs

The questions buyers ask most about these clubs.

What is in the R7 hybrid range?

Four heads, including the CGB Max and the lower-case r7 in standard, TP and Draw builds. The Draw is heel-weighted to help square the face.

How do they compare with a modern hybrid?

Smaller and less forgiving, with higher spin. They still work as long-iron replacements but a Rescue 11 or a SIM hybrid is an easier club.
