Used TaylorMade P790 Wedges

2017–2025

First launched in 2017, the P790 series is famous for introducing SpeedFoam—a lightweight urethane injected inside a forged hollow body to support a thin face while maintaining excellent feel. With subsequent generations in 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025, it has set the industry standard for the player's distance iron category.

FAQs

The questions buyers ask most about these clubs.

Are these dedicated wedges?

No — six set-matching wedges that continue the P790 lofts and hollow-body look. For grind options, look at Milled Grind or Hi-Toe.

Should the gap wedge match the set?

At the gap-wedge slot, usually yes: the P790 set wedge blends with the irons above it. Below that a specialist wedge is the better tool.
