Used TaylorMade R11 Wedges

2011–2012

The R11 line turned TaylorMade's metalwoods white: a matte-white crown against a black face, chosen to make alignment easier and the head look larger. The driver added an Adjustable Sole Plate, so face angle could be set independently of the loft sleeve. The 2012 R11S grew the head to 460cc and widened every adjustment.

Are these set wedges?

Yes. The R11 pitching, gap and sand wedges, at 45, 50 and 55 degrees, finish the iron set in the same cavity-back head rather than as specialist wedges.

Should I buy one on its own?

To complete an R11 set, yes. As a scoring wedge, a dedicated wedge line will give you more loft, bounce and grind choice.
