RTZ ended the RTX naming after nearly a decade, and the reason is in the letter: a new Z-Alloy steel that Cleveland measures as ten percent softer than the RTX 6 ZipCore before it. Softer steel also let the weight be placed more freely, so the centre of gravity moved as well as the feel.
