Used Cobra Tour Trusty

2014

The Tour Trusty followed the Trusty Rusty as Cobra's wedge for 2014 and 2015. Its sole is the point: heel and toe relief ground into a K shape so the club sits low with the face open or closed, with three effective bounces on one head. Lofts run from 48 to 64 degrees in two-degree steps, the 56 and 60 in two bounces each. Two finishes, a matte satin and a black PVD that wears through on the face with use. Replaced by the King wedges in 2016.

FAQs

The questions buyers ask most about these clubs.

What's the Tri-Bounce sole?

Heel and toe relief ground into a K shape, giving one head three effective bounces depending on whether the face is open, closed or square — it's the name of the sole, not a separate model.

What replaced Tour Trusty?

Cobra's King wedges, in 2016 — Tour Trusty was a single-season line sold through 2014 and 2015, itself the successor to the Trusty Rusty.

What's the difference between the Standard and Black finishes?

Standard is a matte satin that wears evenly and hides use well; Black is a PVD coat that wears through to silver at the impact area and leading edge with play.
