FAQs
The questions buyers ask most about these clubs.
What's the difference between the four Forged Tec generations?
2015 is a forged cavity with a face insert; Forged Tec Black (2018) added a thinner stainless face in black only; 2020 went hollow and foam-filled; 2022 refined that construction and added the larger, more forgiving Tec-X.
What replaced the Forged Tec?
The King Tec irons, from November 2024.
Is Forged Tec Black the same head as the 2022 Black finish?
No — Forged Tec Black (2018) is an earlier, different head that happened to share the finish name with the 2023 black-finish version of the 2022 head.
