Used Cobra King Utility

2016–2020

The King Utility was Cobra's first modern driving iron: a hollow, forged-face long iron with a MyFly hosel that adjusts loft through a three degree range, so a single 3 or 4 utility could be set to fill whatever gap sat above the irons. The 2016 model came in satin, then black, then One Length; the June 2020 redesign went hollow with a wider sole and a PWRShell face, and added a One Length build. Succeeded by the King Tec Utility in February 2023.

FAQs

The questions buyers ask most about these clubs.

What's the difference between the 2016 and 2020 King Utility?

The 2016 original is a forged-face hollow iron with tungsten weighting; the June 2020 redesign went to a wider sole and a PWRShell face insert for a faster, easier launch, adding eight MyFly adjustment settings per number.

What does the MyFly hosel do?

Adjusts loft in half-degree steps within a set range — the 2 from 16-20°, the 3 from 18-21°, the 4 from 21-24° on the 2020 head — with draw settings among them.

What replaced the King Utility?

The King Tec Utility, from February 2023, which dropped the adjustable hosel for a conventional glued one and moved to an AI-designed face.

Is there a One Length King Utility?

Yes — offered as a 3, 4 and 5 at 7-iron length, first alongside the F8 One Length hybrid in 2018; the 5 exists only in this build.
