Introduced in 2024, the P7CB is a modern forged cavity back iron designed for competitive players. Each head is shaped from 1025 carbon steel by TaylorMade's Compact Grain Forging process, forged five times under 2,000 tons of pressure to align the grain structure for feel and feedback. Weighting runs progressively through the set: Metal Matrix Composite removes mass from the soles of the long irons, replaced by a co-forged tungsten weight that lifts peak height and steepens landing angles, while the short irons redirect that mass into perimeter weighting for greater stability. The result is a compact iron with clean tour looks, consistent spin, and a high level of distance control, appealing to golfers who demand both workability and a touch of forgiveness.
