FAQs
The questions buyers ask most about these clubs.
What does CB replace in Callaway's wedge lineup?
Mack Daddy CB — CB 2023 is its direct successor, a cavity-back wedge for players who want more forgiveness than a traditional blade.
What's the difference between CB 2023 and CB 12?
CB 2023 introduced Callaway's first Urethane Microspheres in a wedge with Jaws grooves across a 48°-60° range; CB 12 (2025) goes further with a wider Tri-Sole and 12g of perimeter weighting, aimed at golfers moving up from cavity-back or game-improvement irons, across a 50°-60° range.
Which CB generation is more forgiving?
CB 12 — the wider Tri-Sole and extra perimeter weighting push it further toward forgiveness than CB 2023.
