Used TaylorMade R15

2015

Released in 2015, the R15 series refined the sliding weight system by placing a track at the front of the sole. Featuring two independent 12.5-gram weights, it allowed golfers to set the club for draw, fade, or max stability while shifting the CG forward to promote high launch and exceptionally low spin.

FAQs

The questions buyers ask most about these clubs.

What separates the R15 from the R15 430?

Head size. The standard R15 is the larger, more forgiving 460cc shape; the 430 is the smaller, lower-spinning head aimed at better players.

What do the sliding weights do?

They run on a front track, so moving them changes launch and spin as well as bias — closer together lowers spin, further apart raises stability.

Is the Black version different inside?

It is principally a finish and cosmetic change on the same platform. Buy it for the look rather than expecting different performance.
