PXG's entry into the mini driver category sits deliberately between the two clubs at the top of the bag: a 300cc head on a 43.75" shaft, longer and faster than a 3-wood but shorter and more controllable than a driver. PXG aimed it at skilled players wanting a tighter, more penetrating tee shot rather than at amateurs wanting an easier driver, and gave it full-face grooves and a tight leading edge so it stays playable off the turf.
