The generation that stopped hedging. Ping took roughly a fifth out of the sole width and pulled the head in heel to toe, so it sits behind the ball as a driving iron rather than a flattened hybrid. Lofts moved strong again — 17, 20 and 23 as a 2, 3 and 4.
