Used Ping Anser Driving Irons

1966–2011

Karsten Solheim sketched the Anser on a record sleeve in January 1966 and filed for patent that May. An offset hosel, an alignment line parallel to the face and weight pushed out to the heel and toe: the combination is now so ordinary that it is easy to miss how much of it started here. This series covers the putters sold as an Anser, rather than the Anser-shaped heads inside Ping's other lines.
